Cloth Paper Scissors Jan/Feb Issue

Bimonthly!  Both Cloth Paper Scissors and Quilting Arts are going bimonthly and I'm thrilled.  Unfortunately, this probably means I'm going to have to subscribe again because the cost savings became more significant.  Hopefully my track record with them of receiving 1 of each 4 issues late or not at all will not continue.

I very much enjoyed this issue.  It has a nice range of technique articles, individual project suggestions, artist profiles, and so forth.  I liked that they followed up on more interesting things to do with lutrador - I still haven't touched the sheet that I purchased early last year - and the idea of making shimmering papers was intriguing.  I doubt I'll ever use watersoluble paper in my art in the fashion they proposed, but it was fantastic that they were able to present a great cross-over use of the material.

I find it interesting that I'm not the only one who gets issues of them both late. I'm a fairly new subscriber, and I've had to email them for the "late date" every time. Then I wait for the duplicate copy.
The magazines are so beautiful tho, that I put up with it. I wish they'd get their mailings in order, don't you?

Definitely. I've only done one year of each by subscription and was not planning on doing so again. But, as you said, they are so beautiful and I do find them useful and inspiring. Beth

I thought that I was the only one who received her issue of CPS late and I chalked that up to living in Canada. Anyhow, I understand Quilting Arts going to a bimonthly schedule, but I don't really see CPS being to pull it off. It seems to me that CPS barely has enough material to be a quarterly.
