Embroidered Collage

  I've built up the snow with fabric and embroidered snowflake patterns directly on the canvas.  I think I'd like to add some more, but perhaps not until after I add the raised snowflakes.  They don't show up very well in the photograph - I might have to play with that when it's time to record the final piece.  I planned out roughly where the snowflakes will go, as shown by the white paper hexagons on the smaller picture.  I've cut my thick Peltex interfacing and my fabric, the same one that is integrated into the collage, and will begin assembling and embroidering tomorrow.
