Embroidered Collage

I'm down in Centerville, VA this weekend and made a quick trip into DC with the in-laws to see the Henson exhibit.  What was there was fun to see, but for how much they'd been advertising it, there wasn't much of it.  The highlight from an artistic point of view was the Skeksi puppet from The Dark Crystal.  The costuming was layers and layers of fabric, much of it torn and shredded with glimpses of dark lace.  From a personal point of view I just loved seeing the original Kermit and the more modern Kermit.
