Embroidered Collage

I didn't do much art this weekend, but I did do four atc variations of embellishing patterns over top of lace flowers for a swap.  This one's my favorite.

I did spend quite a bit of time just cross-stitching on one of the projects I'd begun before I shifted to doing lots of art.  It felt really nice to get back into that almost meditative state and feel the thread move easily through the fabric in a way that it doesn't with my mixed media work.  I really should incorporate the feeling and the traditional stitching into my art somehow.
