I did a few first sketches for Jasper #1, focusing on pulling patterns directly from the natural ones in the stone circles.  It took me a little while to get warmed up.  I can see the later ideas look better.  I had intended to push myself further and do two pages but suddenly stopped seeing worthwhile new variations.  That was kind of annoying, because I'm certain they are there.  I'll have to try harder to push past that thought the next time.  In the meantime, I like the thumbnail in the bottom left would be a great place to start.  I'm thinking this first piece will be just paint and beads, perhaps with some non-bead embroidery.
