Lagoon - Complete?

I assembled the mini-quilt by cutting a piece of Peltex to fit, wrapping the backing around it, and connected the front and back with ladder stitch.  Then I embellished.  I think I'm done embellishing, but I'll show the piece for critique tomorrow and get opinions there, too.  This was fun.

when you first posted this wip I could not envision how it would look completed...I am so amazed at the product,,,just wonderful...it is just the blocks?? the grey backround is just the surface against which it was photographed?? lovely.... Ginger

The grey background is my sofa! :) Thanks for the compliment.

I really like the embellishments. it's like being underwater and given the name, I'm assuming that's the sort of effect you were going for.

Bummer about the show. There will be others, of course.

Yep, that was the intended effect. And Sonata will be submitted into a local juried show at the beginning of September.
